My story

[p]On the 18th of April 2019, sixty trainee fire-fighters of course T1/19 are taking part in a charity event. The trainees will be walking along the Clyde Walkway from Head Quarters & The National Training Centre into Glasgow city centre in full PPE and Breathing Apparatus. Where they will take part in community engagement events at The Fire-fighters’ Heritage Trail marker points. [/p][p]This charity event has been arranged to support three fantastic charities, The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service Family Support Trust, Anthony Nolan and The Fire-fighters Charity. Each of these charities work endlessly to support & improve the lives of so many who need it. [/p][p]Any donation no matter how little will go a long way to help them continue carry out the amazing work that they do daily. [/p][p]Thank-you, T1-19.[/p]

My daughter and I were on a shopping trip to Glasgow when the Firefighters finished their charity walk. How brilliant to see them finishing and then start raising awareness of home safety and CPR (which we got involved in) well done and thank you.
