My story

[p][br][/p][p]Equinox 24 is a race covering 24 hours with 10k laps around Belvior Castle Estate in Leicestershire. Generally is a team event, but also doing it on your own if fancy that !![/p][p]Having done same challenge last year; and doing 68 miles over the 24 hours with a couple of hours sleep, want to go back and have another go. And hopefully get into 80+ miles over the 24 hours with no sleep. And doing it for charity should push me on further.[/p][p]Doing it for 4 charities that mean something to me;[/p][p]Sarcoma UK; which my mum was died from towards the end of 2014. Is a rare type of cancer that affects bone or soft tissues; a very aggressive type of cancer. I've been doing running fundraising with them since about 2015. [/p][p]Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice; is a specialist palliative care impatient unit in Peterborough. This is where mum spend her last week or so before dying unfortunately.[/p][p]Abbie's Sparkle Fountain; is a Scottish children's charity providing support for children with cancer. A charity that was started by someone I befriended doing the Loch Ness marathon in 2016. Going around trying to brighten up a child's day.[/p][p]Motor Neurone Disease; disease that affects movement & speech due to nerves in the brain & spinal cord that tell your muscles what to do. My friends dad suffered with this; and ultimately died from it unfortunately.[/p]
