Running the 2021 London Marathon

[p]Returning for the marathon 'proper' in October 2021! Thank you to all those who sponsored me for 2020 - I'm hoping to do even better (at fundraising and the running bit...) in 2021. [/p][p]I'm continuing my popular couch-to-5k programme and individual coaching sessions through my little group, www.crystalpalacenewrunners.co.uk, with all proceeds going to NAS.[/p][p][br][/p][p]We all have different kinds of brains. I love creating training plans, analysing large datasets, and reading about physics. I find shopping centres, TV, discos and parties very uncomfortable. Too much sensory input feels like being attacked, and reading social cues can be exhausting. Everyone's different, but some of the most wonderful people in my life share similar traits.[/p][p]Many people's traits are much more acute, or they're too young to learn coping strategies. For them, being on the autistic spectrum can be debilitating. Families of severely autistic people face a lifetime as carers. The National Autistic Society is the UK's leading organisation helping autistic people and their families, and improving understanding and accommodations in schools, workplaces and society.[/p][p]Thank you for reading![/p]
