[p]Hi[/p][p]As a team we recently had to use the Air Ambulance Service, having them attend the injured child so quickly provided the patient with the highest care but also welcomed reassurance to the parents and children at the game. [/p][p]The critical care paramedics, trauma doctors and pilots fly an average of six rescue missions a day. Within minutes they can be on the ground delivering lifesaving care at road traffic collisions, sports events, and industrial accidents or for medical emergencies such as cardiac arrest and stroke. Their rapid response service gives people the very best chance of survival and recovery.[/p][p]They do not receive any government funding and rely entirely on donations to raise the money needed for each mission.
