My story
[p]18 year-old Tom Bird, who has previously ridden up to CCI3* level, will be riding Parkfield Quintessential, who is owned and bred by Parkfield Breeding. Tom is really looking forward to stepping up for the Virtual Eventing 5*, looking to build on ‘Quinty’s’ experience. This horse shot into the spotlight when he won both the four and five year old Burghley Young Event Horse finals, becoming only the third horse in history to achieve the double. He then went on to achieve a top ten finish at Le Lion D’Angers as a six year old. Since then, he’s enjoyed an illustrious career with many international podium finishes to his name, including third place in the highly coveted Blenheim 8/9YO championships with fellow Virtual Eventing competitor, Holly (the blonde bombshell) Woodhead.Tom is also hugely grateful to Colne Saddlery; Bettalife and Radway Equine Rehab for their support.[/p]
