[p]We are eight colleagues from [url=https://www.alexa-capital.com/]Alexa Capital[/url] who, in the spirit of supporting the community during this difficult period, have decided to come together to raise money for five great charities and take on the 100 Day Challenge organised by [url=https://challenge.support2perform.com/sept-2020/]Support2Perform[/url] until Christmas![/p][p]This challenge is about consistency and perseverance as we will need to be scoring points everyday based on the volume of physical activity, but also taps into the more competitive side as we will be pairing up amongst ourselves to win weekly challenges and achieving set milestones.[/p][p]If there is a positive to draw from the pandemic, it’s that it has been a strong reminder to us all on the importance of taking care of our physical and mental well-being. These days, between fear of this pandemic, working remotely and the adjustments a lot of us had to make to our daily lives, it is easy to forget to stay healthy.[/p][p]With this initiative, we aim to support everyone in the team to build better habits in staying active. We want to enhance culture, engagement and productivity during work and of course to have a bit of fun![/p][p]We also acknowledge the charity sector has been hit extremely hard by COVID-19 and really deserves our support during this challenging period. We have decided to create this fundraising page alongside the 100 Day Challenge, and we have selected five charities that we believe perfectly embody several of the UN Sustainability & Development Goals to do just that:[/p][p][url=https://thelotusflower.org/]The Lotus Flower[/url] - "A small and extremely relied upon charity that is in desperate need for funding. Empowering vulnerable women and girls, impacted by conflict and displacement, so that they are safe, have opportunities to learn, and have the freedom to speak out loud and lead change."[/p][p][url=https://www.sas.org.uk/]Surfers Against Sewage[/url] - "Clean our Beaches & Oceans and fight to Reduce Plastic waste, for a cleaner, better more sustainable future! ... The answer is caring for others and changing their lives for the better!”[/p][p][url=https://www.mind.org.uk/]Mind[/url] - “Glad to support Mind through the 100dayschallenge and The White Collar Fight Club. Empowering people for better mental health”[/p][p][url=https://projectaccess.org/]Project Access[/url] -“Whilst learning potential is equally distributed, access to top universities is not. Project Access tackles educational inequality by guiding talented, less-privileged students across the world through the entire university application process and beyond”[/p][p] [/p][p]Thanks for your support and donations, we really appreciate it.
