[p]I am going to be doing some fundraising for Youth Zone. I want to help the kids, to raise money for anything they need,especially at this time of year and after the tough year we have all been through which will obviously have an effect on the kids. [/p][p]During the first lockdown I rowed the equivalent distance of the Atlantic Ocean (3087 miles) on my kayak machine in my back garden to raise money for the NHS and Soldiers Charity. I was rowing between 40 and 60 miles a day, the challenge took me 88 days to achieve and I was delighted to raise £3457 for the Charities.[/p][p]my next fundraising effort to be for Youth Zone and my thoughts are to get back on my Kayak machine again and cover the distance from Carlisle to Calais (409.4 miles) to help the kidsI it would be amazing if we could raise the same figure for the youth Zone in Carlisle. Our youth work team supports young people of all backgrounds, abilities and ages, encouraging personal responsibility, tolerance and ambition.
