My story

[p][br][/p][p] [/p][p]Jackson Williams Challenge Update (12th November 2018): After 14 days, due to the extreme heat Jackson trialled running during the night, but it was unsafe to continue with the challenge across Australia. Jackson completed an incredible 543 miles in 15 days (averaging 36.2 mile per day) which is over 20 marathons! An amazing achievement and all at Break we would like to thank him for raising nearly £10,000 to support vulnerable young people locally. [/p][p]My story [/p][p]On 18th October 2018, Jackson Williams will be setting out to smash a Guinness World Record attempt by running across Australia in under 67 days for Break charity.Jackson will be running 3,755 km from Sydney to Perth and has decided to raise vital funds for Break – who celebrates 50 years of ‘Changing Young Lives’ across East Anglia. Break provides a range of high quality services for looked after children, including young people in care for vulnerable young people and families, moving on, children and young people with disabilities, families in need of support and children at risk. [/p][p]100% of the donations to this fundraising page will go direct to Break and will not cover any costs associated with the challenge. [/p][p]A huge thank you to all that attended Jacksons corporate boxing night in September and helping him achieve his first goal of raising an incredible £5,000 for Break. [/p][p]Jackson would love to double this and raise £10,000 whilst he is running every day in Australia. Please donate and leave a message of support to help motivate Jackson over the coming weeks.[/p][p]Keep up to date with Jackson’s progress via Facebook, search ‘Jackson Williams Challenge – 50/50 Run from Sydney to Perth.
