[p]So I haven’t told anyone I was doing the virtual marathon as I thought there was no way I would clock up 26.2 miles. To be fair, I walked most of the way with a long rest and the Foxes came on the majority of my walk - grabbing my phone to give me a boost many a time. Oh for their energy. [/p][p][br][/p][p]I always had Kent and Surrey air ambulance as my chosen charity but never started this page. Again it was just a whim to get me exercising. [/p][p][br][/p][p]Now I’ve done it (albeit slowly and borrowing some Foxy energy) it feels wrong not to even acknowledge who was in my mind. So often I hear the air ambulance overhead and feel gratitude. And then of course there is the link to my childhood home that is Kent. [/p][p][br][/p][p]So there you go. I’m off to bed tired and feeling pleased with myself. Even if I make a tiny donation to give them I’ll feel so happy. [/p][p][br][/p][p]Next year I think I’ll approach this all totally differently - now I know I’m capable. Once again my children taught me a lesson telling me of course we could do it. I finished at about 9pm tonight 🤣. But it’s complete. All 26.2 miles - in the family way we only know how. [/p]
