[p]Hi,[/p][p]Thanks for taking your time to visit the fundraising page for the 2014 SET Cycle Club Challenge – MK to Bilbao and the MK Dons FC Cycle Challenge – MK to Paris.[/p][p][b]2014 SET Cycle Club Challenge – MK to Bilbao[/b][/p][p]A team of 12 riders will be braving the elements and 1000 miles over 8 days travelling from Milton Keynes to France over the Pyrenees into Spain finishing in Bilbao and will take place from Saturday 7[sup]th[/sup] June – Saturday 14[sup]th[/sup] June 2014.[/p][p]The riders are SET Cycle Club Members; Nathan Thomas, Mike Verwoert, Graham Cuthbert, Gozde Twitchett, Stuart Austin, Steve Cutler, Lee Sharples, Sean Fitzgerald, Tom Armstrong, Andy Heath and Darren Oldroyd (MK Dons SET - Director of Football and Community) The money raised by the enthusiastic riders from both Cycle challenges will support the Henry Allen Trust and for MK Dons SET.[/p][p][b]2014 MK - Paris Cycle Ride[/b][/p][p]A team of 8 riders will be cycling from Milton Keynes to Paris from May 26th - May 29th. The riders for this include Karl Robinson (the MK Dons 1st Team Manager, Dawn and Mark Allen, Anne-Marie Davies, Lisa Forrest, Matthew Ray, Dan Carter and Sam Forrest.[/p][p]MK Dons Sport and Education Trust provides a variety of projects for the community of Milton Keynes and surrounding areas, across four main departments including Health and Wellbeing, Education, Community & Development, and Social Inclusion and Disability. Our work in the community has been nationally recognised by the Football League after we were awarded the Community Club of the year for the South East. Our past and present projects include a children’s weight management scheme; developing basic IT skills to over 55s; after-school and community football and multi-sport courses; parenting skills workshops; cross-generational allotment projects; NEETS engagement programmes; and delivering healthy lifestyle messages to school children and their families. Naturally, our projects allow us to engage with people across several generations and various ethnic backgrounds, regardless of any disability.[/p][p]For more information about MK Dons SET, please visit [url=http://www.mkdonsset.com/]http://www.mkdonsset.com/[/url]. [/p][p]The Henry Allen Trust[/p][p]A trust has been set up in memory of Henry Allen to bring 'happiness' to children and families battling childhood cancer.[/p][p]The Bletchley superhero captured the hearts of Milton Keynes and surrounding areas with his brave battle against high risk Neuroblastoma, sadly Henry gained his angel wings on the 20th October 2013.[lt]br /[gt]The Henry Allen trust aims to create smiles and memories for local children aged 0 - 18 and their families, creating awareness of childhood cancers and assisting families upon diagnosis. As a Trust Team Henry will fundraise for treats and wishes to provide special memories for families dealing with childhood cancers. It will work also alongside hospitals to improve care programmes and assist in producing leaflets and books to help families during their oncology journey.[/p][p]Thank you again for taking your time to visit our page.
