[p]The 9th Annual Festive Training Run is set for Sunday the 1st of December 2019, in support of the Funding Neuro and Charity partner Sporting Memories Foundation Scotland[/p][p]As well as the 10km & Half Marathon distance there will also be a 5k/2k option. The half marathon route will be from Dumbarton to Anniesland Lock 27 ,1100 Crow Road, Anniesland, Glasgow G13 1JT along the cycle path.[/p][p]The events are not timed as they will be classed as a training run, however, the route will be supported with course marshals and signage.[/p][p]To take part in the event, all we ask is that you make an ‘honesty’ donation of whatever you can afford to the fundraising link below which will be shared equally between Funding Neuro and Sporting Memories Foundation Scotland:[/p][p]To aid the celebrations of this event, we encourage volunteers and participants to wear something festive or even come dressed as your sporting icon?[/p][p]Sporting Memories Foundation Scotland Group Practice and Delivery Co-ordinator Jim Purvis, has taken up the challenge to complete the 10k distance for the first time. Well done Jim, "Inspirational" and remember .........."Keeeeeeep Jogging"[/p]
