Team story

[p]Hi, thankyou for visiting WheelWomens fundraising page. [/p][p]We four are cycling the Prudential London 100.... 100 testing miles from London through the Surrey Hills. As a warm up, 3 of us are also tackling the Wales Velethon. We are all fundraising for Disability Challengers in Guildford, and here's why.....[/p][p]Carrie: As many of you know, Challengers is a local lifeline to families with children who have a disability. It's an amazing place on Stoke Park, crammed full of energetic, dynamic people making a huge difference to families like us. Whilst Evie is at Challengers we can spend time with Olly and Maddie doing activities that Evie can't take part in due to her disability, safe in the knowledge that whilst we are doing this she is having an equally awesome time. It really is a lifeline to lots of families and due to Government funding cuts, and closures of so many schemes that support families, now is a vital time for donations, so if you can PLEASE dig deep...... thank you SO much xxxx [/p][p]Emma:I am so pleased to be given the chance to take part in the Prudential ride 100 for Challengers with Wittsy, Mavers and Rosie. It is a fantastic charity and I have seen first hand the support they give to dear Evie and her family. People may take for granted the simple things that they can do as a family together but having a disabled child means that everythng has to be planned. Having such a fun place to send your child knowing that they are having fun means that the whole family can benefit from some quality time together. Please support this amazing charity and I will pedal as hard as I can.[/p][p]Fiona: Knowing Evie has made me aware of the fabulous support and care that Challengers gives her, her family and families who have children with disability. If taking part in the Prudential London 100 raises funds and awareness of this worthy charity then I am deligted to have dusted off my bike and pulled my padded pants out of retirement.  Thank you in advance for your donations, they really do make the tiring training worthwhile. THANK YOU X[/p][p]Jane: I am taking part in the Prudential London 100 to support Carrie and her family with the fantastic care that Challenges provides for their daughter/sister Evie. It really is a brilliant place and I am very happy to ride alongside Carrie, Fiona and Emma to raise money to boost funds for the vital work that they do. I love to ride, keep fit and challenge myself from time to time. So thank you for any donations, it is very much appreciated. THANK YOU X[/p]
