Team story

[p]Do you remember 'Aber'?  Aberllefenni was the outdoor education centre for Forest Hill School.[/p] [p]The centre is now part of Widehorizons; a charity which is focussed on the delivery of inspirational outdoor learning experiences for children and young people.  They provide adventure for over 30,000 children every year.[/p] [p]Aber (or Bryn Coedwig, which is Forest Hill in Welsh) is in desperate need of some attention.  The building is showing signs of fatigue and many, many years of wear and tear.  Unless we do something now, the future of adventurous experiences for children at Aber will be under threat.[/p] [p]As Vice-Chair of Widehorizons and ex-Headteacher of Forest Hill School, I, along with former Head Peter Walsh, have formed the Aber Action Team to help bring the centre back to its former glories so that children can experience their adventure learning in a centre with good, quality accommodation and facilities.[/p] [p]We intend to spend a week at the centre painting, decoratiing and completing minor repairs, and have estimated that we need around £15,000 to fund our plans.[/p] [p]If you can help, donate now to ensure that thousands of children will get the adventure and outdoor learning opportunities in their lives that they deserve. [/p] [p]All donors will automatically join the 'Aber Action Team' and be kept up to date with the progress of the project.  Of course, you'd also be most welcome to visit! [/p] [p]Many thanks[/p] [p]Graham & Peter[/p] [p][/p] [p][/p]
