Team story

[p][span=font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;]Here at Absolute Aerials and Satellites Ltd we think that to be part of a community it is important to give back locally. We have decided to raise as much money as possible for the Children’s hospice Southwest. An inspirational charity that supports families through, undoubtedly, the most difficult journeys of their lives. [/span][/p] [p][span=font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;]The Children’s hospice Southwest supports children that have been given a diagnosis of a life-limiting condition, meaning that they will die in childhood. The charity, founded by Eddie Farwell and his late wife Jill set up the Children’s hospice Southwest following the amazing care they received from Helen House, Oxford after both of their children were diagnosed with Life-limiting illnesses, because of this, they have a unique insight into what families need during this time in their lives. [/span][/p] [p][span=font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;]The Children’s hospice Southwest supports the whole family at every stage throughout their journey, meaning that the whole family can stay at one of their three hospices within the southwest and offers support throughout every stage of the child’s illness. [/span][/p] [p][span=font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;]We have decided that to raise as much money as possible, we need to push ourselves and so, have self-funded our trip to Nepal and our trek up to Everest Base camp, meaning that every penny raised will go directly to the Southwest Children’s Hospice. The trek itself will take approximately 12 – 14 days, dependent on the weather and will involve on average 5 – 6 hours of trekking every day at high altitudes to reach base camp, situated 17,600ft within Everest.  [/span][/p] [p][span=font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;]Please donate today to ensure that this inspirational charity continues to be able to support those in need. [/span][/p] [p][span=font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;]Follow our journey on Facebook, Twitter and on here.[/span][/p]
