My story

[p]#mindovermatter[/p][p][/p][p][span=text-decoration: underline;]Hi[/span], after seeing my brother volunteer for the 100km South Coast Challenge for such an important charity, I couldn't help but feel the need to volunteer myself and join him to tackle this test of endurance. Please give all you can, every little helps and will help a charity I feel so strongly about. The struggle faced with mental health is one which can be crippling, judged by many but understood by just a few, knowledge and awareness can help encourage a positive change to how mental health is approached and discussed.[/p][p][/p][p][span=text-decoration: underline;]The Challenge[/span]: This new Challenge takes on some of England's finest scenery. Eastbourne start, up the infamous Beachy Head, over chalk cliffs through the Seven Sisters Country Park and along the South Downs Way. A Brighton midpoint, Devils Dyke, amazing views, sunset & sunrise all lie ahead before the Cathedral spire of historic Arundel comes into view and a welcome finish line after an amazing 100km.[/p][p]For more information on the challenge, you can check out everything about it here.[/p][p][/p][p][span=text-decoration: underline;]The Charity[/span]: When you're experiencing a mental health problem, supportive and reliable information can change your life. That's what Mind do. They empower people to understand their condition and the choices available to them through:[/p] [ul] [li]Their Infoline which offers callers confidential help for the price of a local call[/li] [li]Their Legal Advice Service which provides information on mental health related law to the public, service users, family members/carers, mental health professionals and mental health advocates[/li] [li]Their award-winning publications and website, now certified by the Information Standard.[/li][/ul][p]Please visit http://www.mind.org.uk/ for more information and to find out how you can help too![/p][p][/p][p]Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.[/p][p][/p][p]#mindovermatter[/p]
