My story

[p]Thank you for visiting our team's fundraising page for the 2020 London legal sponsored walk. We're taking on 10K for justice on the 5th October.[/p][p]Despite the postponement of the London Legal Walk due to COVID-19, many of us will still be marking 8th June with a virtual 10,000 Steps for Justice, before coming together in solidarity and support for frontline free legal advice services at the main walk in October. The virus is creating an urgent and unprecedented need for advice agency services and it is vital that they continue to receive funding during this difficult period. [/p][p]Our team is: Sarah Cashman, Charmaine Clubb, Helen Moizer, Suhanya Jeyashiri, Caroline Finney, Sophie Broke, Megan Blythin, Lisa Naylor, Bryony Wells[/p][p]We are walking with the Lord Chief Justice and thousands of lawyers to raise funds for Advocate. Advocate have helped thousands of people achieve the access to justice they deserve. Over the years, we have established successful partnerships with charities and professional bodies across the sector to deliver free legal advice and advocacy where it is most needed.[/p][p]Today, Advocate works with over 4,000 volunteer barristers. As we look towards the future, more of our processes are being taken online, making legal assistance more accessible than ever. Our rebrand in 2018 not only keeps pace with the profession’s increasing digitisation, but also reflects our desire to showcase what we do.[/p][p]Please sponsor our walkers as generously as you are able [/p][p]Many thanks for your support [/p]
