My story
[lt]p style="text-align: center;"[gt]Hello!![/p][lt]p style="text-align: center;"[gt]Thankyou so much for taking the time to click endless links and probably creating another donation account. Your support is appreciated more than you think![/p][lt]p style="text-align: center;"[gt]Hopefully you've already checked out my website for the trip. If not click another link below and have a look! Its got all the details, who, what, when, why and how.[/p][lt]p style="text-align: center;"[gt]www.thesouthernpush.co.uk[/p][lt]p style="text-align: center;"[gt][/p][lt]p style="text-align: center;"[gt]If you REALLY dont want to see all the cool bits, then here is a little rundown of why i'm doing this craxy 420 mile trip.[/p][lt]p style="text-align: center;"[gt]I love an adventure, the outdoors, the fresh air and the freedom. I'm also quite partial to a long skate.[/p][lt]p style="text-align: center;"[gt]I needed a challenge. I firmly believe that you can do anything, if you believe you can and have the passion, then nothing will stop you.[/p][lt]p style="text-align: center;"[gt]Last year my nanna was diagnosed with Alzheimers and her decline during the time i've been planning this trip has been fast. She is an amazing woman with the biggest heart and is always smiling. Watching her condition get worse is very saddening. The cost of the care she will need and the research that goes into the drugs to slow her decline and develop cures for this awful disease is staggering.[/p][lt]p style="text-align: center;"[gt][/p][lt]p style="text-align: center;"[gt]Your generosity and donations are appreciated way more than you can imagine. You are helping and contributing to the essential research needed to find the cure for Alzheimer's.[/p][lt]p style="text-align: center;"[gt]Your money will pay for the cost of a chemist for 3 months work. This is crucial work for the project I am fundraising for at Southampton University.[/p][lt]p style="text-align: center;"[gt]Dr Gomez Nicola aims to find a drug that will dampen the immune response in Alzheimer's, with the aim of reducing nerve cell death in the disease and improving symptoms.[/p][lt]p style="text-align: center;"[gt]More information on the project can be found on my website.[/p][lt]p style="text-align: center;"[gt][/p][lt]p style="text-align: center;"[gt]When donating please leave me a message. I think i'll have a few hard days on the trip and your messages and support will keep me going. [/p][lt]p style="text-align: center;"[gt]Thankyou so much.[/p][lt]p style="text-align: center;"[gt]Love Alex[/p][p][/p]
