My story

[p]I am running the Vitality Big Half Marathon with 10lbs of weight strapped to my back on 10th March 2019 for the MSA Trust and St Wilfred's Hospice Eastbourne. Multiple System Atrophe (MSA) is a condition which is not widely known about and which my Father in Law suffers from. Multiple system atrophy (MSA) is a neurological disorder that affects adult men and women. It is caused by degeneration or 'atrophy' of nerve cells in several areas of the brain. This can result in problems with movement, balance and autonomic functions of the body such as bladder and blood pressure control.[/p][p]The MSA Trust do excellent research into this condition and are the only one in the UK.[/p][p]I am also raising money for St Wilfred's Hospice in Eastbourne who looked after David in his last days and also took great care of my Father in Law who was in there for respite care before Christmas. They are a wonderful charity who do incredible work![/p][p]Please note, as you are aware I have done a few half marathons over the years which is why I am strapping 10lbs to my back to make it a little trickier. I am hoping to run it in under 2 hours. I hope you feel you would like to donate to these great causes[/p][p]Thank you very much in advance![/p]
