Mr C is fundraising for Golden Futures

[p][img][/img]The one thing that makes me passionate is helping young people realise their potential. I've tried throughout my life to make it happen wherever I've lived, and now I've got the chance to do it in Cambodia as well. [/p][p]I'm setting myself the biggest challenge I've ever attempted. Not only will I be running the 2018 London Marathon, and doing my best to beat the time I set last year, I will also be undertaking on the same weekend in October 2017 the Leicester half-marathon and the 50 mile Round Rotherham walk. I'm going to top it all off with an attempt at the Isle of Man Parish Walk in June 2018 - 85 miles in 24 hours. [/p][p]A total of 175 miles - that's how far I'm willing to go to support disadvantaged children - I hope you're willing to help out too! [/p][p]Golden Futures is a regisitered UK charity that works to give orphaned and vulnerable Cambodian children the support they need to get a fair chance in life. They give advice, support, mentoring and financial support to ensure that a childhood in care doesn't lead to a life on the streets. All the money raised through this will help ensure that young Cambodians don't slip back into drugs, prostitution or crime, and get the best possible life chances.
