My story

[p]Help me help the Wild Place project being some special animals back to Bristol. [/p][p]I'm going to abseil down one of Bristols tallest buildings, Gardiner Haskins, for the Bear Wood project. [/p][p]British ancient woodland is the richest habitat for wildlife in the UK, providing a home for hundreds of species of animals and plants. 98% of British woodland has been destroyed due to climate change, urbanisation and intensive agriculture. [/p][p]Bear Wood will take you on a journey into the past to see species now extinct in the UK and show you how to protect the future of native wildlife and care for our woodlands. Bear Wood needs people like you, who believe in the importance of preserving our wildlife and woodland heritage for the generations to come. Help secure the future of our woodlands and native wildlife.[/p]
