My story

[p]In 2012 I planned to swim from Teddington to Calais. That got postponed because 3 weeks before the event I broke my neck and became quadriplegic. However Addenbrooke's eventually put me back together and I restarted training. Through the pain I managed to regain my strength and I started the swim in July 2013.[/p][p]To date I have raised over £63,000 towards my target of £100,000 for the Herts MS Therapy Centre and the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance. They will each get 50% of what I raise.[/p][p]The swim is finished but the fund-raising continues in the form of a unique book of 'People of Our Time'. You can see all the entries to date on the swim website at; [/p][p][/p][p]Fund-raising was initially at JustGiving but they have now closed the Hertfordshire MS Therapy Centre's account, hence me opening this account for my fund raising.[/p][p]Please support me and this local charity and I hope you enjoy browsing through my website. Thank you.[/p][p][br][/p]
