Animal Alphabet for The Global Concerns Trust

[p][b]Some good friends and I have come up with the idea of creating Animal Alphabet challenge, being inspired by the 2.6 challenge. This is what we propose: [/b][/p][p][b]Over the next month, we will take on the challenge, with our delightful children, Lilly-Grace & Brodie, Sebastian, Sol & Alaya, Aurla & Mara, Sophie & Toby, Oliver, Amelie & Louis and Rafael to dress up as an animal from each letter of the alphabet. By the end of the month, by 26th May 2020 we will produce a video of all our animal clips and this will be shared with all those who have supported us in this process![/b] [/p][p]Animals identified so far include the Albatross, Elephant, Giraffe, Penguin and Unicorn![/p][p][url=https://www.globalconcernstrust.org.uk/]The Global Concerns Trust[/url] is an internal development charity set by one of team member's parents in 1996, whose aim is to reduce poverty and empower vulnerable people, through innovative and sustainable grassroots development projects. Global Concerns currently supports a variety of projects in India, Malawi and Kenya working with vulnerable children and adults, some of whom have physical disabilities and mental health difficulties. We're aware that a lot of charities are asking for money right now and so we appreciate anything that you may be able to donate to help those less fortunate than ourselves in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic. [/p][p]We are raising funds to support our partners to respond to immediate needs during the difficult Covid-19 pandemic, and beyond. In India, our partners are working hard to provide food rations and medicines to vulnerable individuals and families living in the slums of Bangalore. We are working with our partners in Malawi to continue to support the current and past trainees of our vocational training programmes, all of whom have physical disabilities, and whose livelihoods are at risk. In Kenya, we have been working with our partners to help their community access food and resources in bulk, which they can share and divide within the community, enabling them to adhere to strict curfews and practice social distancing.
