My story

[p]On 26th April 2015 I ran the London Marathon to raise money for United Response - hover your mouse over the charity's logo for more information on the invaluable work they do across the UK.[/p][p]After a year's training the big day finally rolled around, and what an experience it was! The run itself was incredibly tough but the crowds created such an amazing atmosphere - it's impossible to describe what it feels like to have hundreds of people cheering your name as you run past some of London's most famous landmarks.[/p][p]I finished with my friend Ellie in a time of 4 hours 42 minutes 12 seconds - slightly slower than we'd hoped for but I'm still really pleased... and even more pleased with how generous everyone has been donating money to such a worthwhile cause. I've had to push my fundraising target up twice just to keep pace with you all! It would be wonderful if we could break the £2,000 mark so please do donate if you can spare a few pennies.[/p][lt]p style="margin: 0px 0px 12px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; outline: 0px; font-size: 1.3em; vertical-align: baseline; color: #4d4840; line-height: 1.3; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-size: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial;"[gt][span=color: #000000; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10px;]Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.[/span][/p]
