My story

[p]We are hiking along the West Highland Way in Scotland to raise funds for two hospices. These are St Luke's Hospice and Keech Hospice care.[/p][p]The hike is 100 miles starting just north of Glasgow and takes you through a variety of forestry trails and some amazing landscapes in the Western Highlands, the most popular long distance path in Scotland. We will be travelling north passing by Loch Lomond, Ben Dorian, Rannoch Moor and Glencoe ending at Fort Williams in the shadow of Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK.[/p][p]This is a strenuous trek and our challenge is to complete this hike in just four days. We have been training for this challenge for the past 4 months with the help of the Desi Ramblers. [/p][p]This trip is fully self funded and all your donations will be divided between these two hospices.[/p][p]Thanking you all in advance for all your generous donations to these worthy causes.[/p][p]Ashok and Hema[/p][p][br][/p][p]St Luke's Hospice[/p][p]St Luke’s is the local hospice for Harrow and Brent. We care for people whose illnesses are no longer curable, enabling them to achieve the best possible quality of life.[/p][p][br][/p][p]Keech Hospice Care[/p][p]As a charity, we provide free, specialist care for adults in Luton and south Bedfordshire, and children from Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Milton Keynes, who have life-limiting and terminal illnesses.[/p]
