Team story

[p]Atalian Servest's Charities of the year for 2019/2020 are Mind, Alzheimer’s Society and Alzheimer’s Scotland. Our established dedicated charity committee is responsible for organising various charity events throughout the next year.[/p][p]Upcoming Events:[/p][p]Barcelona Marathon - Ben Walker - 15th March [/p][p]Ben Walker, Operations Director, Integrated Solutions, will be completing his second marathon in 12 months after successfully completing the Toronto marathon in April last year. Ben is running to raise funds and awareness of Dementia, as he is currently experiencing the difficulties people face with the disease and the impact it has on families first-hand within his own family.[/p][p]Paris, Vienna and Prague Marathons - Paris Mudan - 5th April, 19th April and 3rd May[/p][p]Paris believes that mental illness is not a personal failure, the failure is in how we have responded to people with mental disorders. With one in four people affected by mental disorders, he is running to help support the desperately needed response the mental health burden deserves.[/p][p]Brighton Marathon - Scott Stannard - 19th April[/p][p]Scott Stannard, a member of the Payroll team, took up running as an outlet to relieve anxiety and depression at university. Scott believes that mental and physical health are two parts of life that have brought him to where he is today. [/p][p]London Marathon - Daniel Dickson - 26th April[/p][p]Our CEO, UK and Ireland, Daniel Dickson, will be completing his second run in 12 months as he prepares himself for the London marathon in April. [/p][p]Edinburgh Gung-Ho 5K - 9th May[/p][p]17 of our Scotland based colleagues will be completing the world's biggest inflatable 5k run in Edinburgh, including Mike Floyd, Managing Director, Technical Services. [/p][p]Hadrian’s Wall Walk - 7th-12th May[/p][p]A group of colleagues are taking on the challenge of a lifetime, walking 84 miles from coast to coast following the World Heritage Site of Hadrian’s Wall over 4 days. [/p][p]Catering Summer Solstice Half Marathon - 20th - 21st June[/p][p]A group of colleagues are participating in a half marathon in Banbury. Setting off from Pig Place pig farm campsite, the team will walk 13-miles on Saturday morning from the farm to endpoint of a cosy pub. [/p]

Stephen Williams - Atalian Servest

A massive thank you to all the Food Co. catering teams on the South Region who took part in the cup cake sale raising funds for the Alzheimer's Society. The cakes looked (and tasted!) amazing, and raised an amazing total for this worthy cause.
