Team story

[p][span=color: #ff0000;] [/span]Hi....  and a very warm welcome to all our families, friends, followers[span=color: #ff0000;] [/span]and to all those who are visiting this page for the first time.[/p][p]As you read this we have just completed rowing 3000 miles, over 51 days and 1240 hours across the mighty Atlantic Ocean from La Gomeira to Antigua. We experienced mountainous seas, severe sea-sickness, painful salt sores and hallucinations but we made landfall at the historic Nelson's Boatyard in English Harbour at 21:21 UK time on 9 Feb 2016. [/p][p]By rowing - and indeed racing - across the Atlantic we have aimed to not only raise awareness of Multiple Sclerosis but also to raise a huge amount of money - £100,000 is our target to combat MS. The MS Trust - our chosen charity for our Atlantic Challenge is a charity incredibly close to our hearts and every donation large or small will go a long way to change the lives of MS sufferers. [/p][p]It has taken over 18 months of hard training and fund raising to get to where we are now and every pound you donate on this page will go to the MS Trust. We are absolutely determined in raising over £100,000 for the Trust and from the vastness of this ocean and now safely on land we would like to thank you for your support. It has been incredibly tough out on the ocean but not as tough as those who suffer from multiple sclerosis.
