Team story

[p]Bnei Akiva UK is more than just a youth movement. Bnei Akiva is a journey and all journeys have to start somewhere...[/p][p]The BAUK journey started for us with both Machane and weekly Sviva. BA has been with us step by step from primary school to high school as we slowly progressed from Chanichim to Madrichim. Our Madrichim have always been there to talk to and guide us, truly becoming people we look up to. Now we are moving onto the next stage of our BA journeys. We have made friends for life, been inspired by our madrichim and most importantly been part of a family. This is why we truly want to give back and help and support others on their journey through BAUK. [/p][p]The amount BA has given to each and every one of us has defined who we have become as people both religiously and socially. Therefore when we wanted a way to give back to BA we could think of no better way than helping people to begin their BAUK journey. We want the money raised to be put towards subsidies for Machane. The money would be used to help children begin their BAUK journey. [/p][p]The Jerusalem Marathon (Well 10k of it) seemed like the perfect challenge to raise the much needed funds to allow as many people as possible to experience this life defining journey. Some may call us crazy for running 10k, others may call us lazy, however we can all agree on the importance of the Bnei Akiva journey. We are hoping that with your kind and generous donations, that more bursaries will be able to be given to chanichim who otherwise would not be able to go on machane. Thank you so much for your support! [/p][p]Hashem Imachem,[/p][p]The 10k Runners[/p][p][br][/p]
