My story

[p]Thanks for taking the time to visit my Virgin Money Giving page and thank you to those who have supported me in this challenge before![/p][p]Allow me to highlight that I will be taking part in the 2019 edition of RideLondon, this is due to a complication with this years entry meaning I am unable to participate, I hope you understand and are still happy to support me in this endeavor. [/p][p]What is Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100?[/p][p]It is a three day long festival of all things cycling, including events such as live shows and exhibitions, a Freecycle event, the women's Classique Criterium race, the Brompton World championship, the men's Classic race and most importantly for me, the RideLondon-Surrey 100. This is a 100 mile sportive on closed roads through London and Surrey.[/p][p]What do I aim to achieve?[/p][p]I have proved that I am more than capable of completing this event in past years that I have participated, however being a cyclist with a competitive nature I wanted to push myself to new limits, so once again I am going to aim to complete the 100 mile route in 4 hours or less. That means cycling at an average speed of 25 mph! *GULP*[/p][p]Why support the Berkshire MS Therapy Centre?[/p][p]My Mother was diagnosed with MS in 1991. At that time she was advised against having children but refused to follow this advice and proceeded to have my brother, Thomas in 1993, and me in 1996. [/p][p]She does an incredible job of putting her needs behind the needs of others and is often supporting charities and organising fundraising events. Her job as a Regulator and Inspector of Health and Social care means that she helps makes a difference to peoples lives and improves the quality of life for a vast majority of people across the country.[/p][p]So by supporting this wonderful centre I hope that I can help to make her life, and the life of those with Multiple Sclerosis easier. [/p][p]Thank you for your time and an even bigger thank you for your amazingly generous donations.[/p][p][br][/p][p]Ben[/p]
