My story

[p]On Friday, 2nd of October 2020, Blue Watch from Kilmarnock Fire Station will be walking, in Full Firefighting PPE, around the 5 Whole-time Fire Stations within Ayrshire. [/p][p]We are raising money for 2 local Ayrshire charities! West FMs 'Cash for Kids' an MacMillan Cancer Support. [/p][p]The Watch will start the journey at Ayr Fire Station and visit Kilmarnock, Dreghorn, and Kilwinning before finishing at Ardrossan. This is approximately 30 miles. Our aim is to raise £500 for each charity.[/p][p]'West FMs Cash for Kids' is a grant giving charity that helps the children that need it most across Ayrshire. They work with local grass-roots organisations that aim to make a difference to young lives. 100% of every £1 they receive goes to the local communities.[/p][p]'MacMillan Cancer Support' is one of the largest charities in the UK. All money that we raise for them will be directed to Ayrshire. They look at the social, emotional and practical impact that cancer can have and provides specialist health care, information and financial support to people affected by cancer.[/p][p]We understand that there are a lot of challenges just now with the current pandemic. Please support us to help the people of Ayrshire by donating.[/p][p]Anything you can give will make a difference locally![/p]
