[p]🎄Christmas Charity 5km Virtual Fun Run 🎄[/p][p]📅Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 December[/p][p]Every year, Norfolk Gazelles puts on a Christmas 5km fun run in Buxton. We can’t do that this year so we’re making it virtual instead. Join in, get your tinsel out and help us raise some cash for this year's club charity, Nelson’s Journey.[/p][p]There will be the usual podium place prizes for the fastest runners, but this is more about finish lines, not finish times! [/p][p]We'd love you to form a virtual team, just for a bit of extra camaraderie and community spirit, but it's not compulsory. We just want you to join us for a bit of fun![/p][p]It’s EASY to enter:[/p][p]🎄 Grab some friends, make a team of four and give yourselves a Christmassy team name (if you run with others, please make sure you adhere to social distancing rules at all times)[/p][p]🎄 Nominate a team captain (They’ll be responsible for sending in your times)[/p][p]🎄 Or don’t get a team – run 5km and enter by yourself![/p][p]🎄 Go to the [url=https://www.facebook.com/events/303529844081672]facebook event page[/url] and let us know you’re taking part [/p][p]🎄 Choose a FANTASTIC costume[/p][p]🎄 Run 5km in full Christmas plumage anywhere, anytime, between Saturday 5 December and 5pm on Sunday 6 December[/p][p]🎄 If you wish to enter a time, make sure you record your run and don’t pause your watch![/p][p]🎄 Team captains email a screenshot of your team's Strava/Garmin/other device/trackers to helen.terry@norfolkgazelles.co.uk along with your names, genders, age categories and team name (Make sure you do this before 6pm on Sunday 6 December)[/p][p]🎄 There’ll be unique trophies for the fastest times in these groups: under 40s, 40s-60s, over 60s[/p][p]🎄 Make it a family affair - 2k individual kids' event – ages 4-6, 7-9, 10-12, 13-17[/p][p]🎄 Optional Christmas charity medal/memento (£3 - order here: [url=https://www.norfolkgazelles.co.uk/buxton-medal.php]https://www.norfolkgazelles.co.uk/buxton-medal.php[/url])[/p][p]🎄 Fancy dress and best team name prizes too!
