My story

[p]Thank you for visiting our team's fundraising page for the 2019 London Legal sponsored walk.[/p][p]Our team so far is: Vivien Gambling, Nick Piska, Paul Wilkinson, Tessa O'Sullivan and Nick Jackson [/p][p]We are walking with the Lord Chief Justice and thousands who are raising funds for Law Centres and pro bono agencies in and around London. [/p][p]Our team is walking for Canterbury Housing Advice Centre (CHAC) and all funds donated to our team will be passed to CHAC with no deductions. [/p][p]CHAC is a registered charity with the objective of relieving poverty and homelessness in the Canterbury District. Our work primarily focuses on preventing homelessness. We provide a free, confidential, independent and impartial advice service on a wide range of housing issues and problems including homelessness, accessing accommodation in the public, private and voluntary sectors, repossession, landlord/tenant issues, and housing benefit. We also assist those who become (or are about to become) homeless to access alternative accommodation.[/p][p]The service is very short of funds. [/p][p]Please support our walkers as generously as you are able[/p][p]Thank you[/p][p]Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.[/p]
