Team story

[p]Hi, thanks for visiting our page. Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][lt]div id="_mcePaste" style="position: absolute; left: -10000px; top: 0px; width: 1px; height: 1px; overflow: hidden;"[gt]Every week in the UK 12 apparently 'fit and healthy' young people (under 35) die of undiagnosed heart conditions. CRY raises awareness of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD), supports the families of those affected by this and runs regular screening clinics and mobile heart testing programmes within local communities. The most recently 197 young people were screened of those 6 were found to require referral for further testing. In 2 previous clinics 406 were screened and 12 were highlighted with a potential heart condition. Without screening those at risk will not be identified. Nicola Clarke, Zoe Edmondson, Angela Foster, Sarah Sutcliffe and Anne Whittingham are running the Windermere marathon 26 miles and Clare Bugeja is running the Windermere half marathon 13 miles to raise money for this incredibly worthy charity. Unfortunately locally we have families who have been affected by this. We are running in memory of Matthew Hesmondhalgh son of Barry and Paula.[lt]/div[gt] [lt]div id="_mcePaste" style="position: absolute; left: -10000px; top: 0px; width: 1px; height: 1px; overflow: hidden;"[gt]Follow the link for Matthews story http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/SomeoneSpecial/matthesmondhalgh[lt]/div[gt][p] Every week in the UK 12 apparently 'fit and healthy' young people (under 35) die of undiagnosed heart conditions.
