My story

[p]As part of a company-wide fundraising effort, three members of our executive team are riding 800 miles from our Southern-most care home (The Potteries in Dorset) to our Northern-most home (Tor-Na-Dee in Aberdeen). Their aim is to raise £15,000 for three amazing charities: The Alzheimer’s Society, Alzheimer Scotland and the Care Workers Charity. [/p][p]CEO, Andrew Knight, Marketing Director, Jacqui White and Strategic Programmes Director, Tony Weedon will be riding an average of 60 miles a day for 15 days, visiting 26 of our care homes along the way (and even spending the night in a few of them). They will be joined at various stages by cyclists from our homes and support teams. [/p][p]Any donations, large or small will be incredibly welcome in our efforts to support these three incredibly important charities. [/p][p]Thank you. [/p]

Kindness of strangers

Whilst on the ride many people stopped us to ask about why we were riding and several then gave us small cash donations on the spot. Grateful for the donation, but also the lift in spirits this gave us. Jac, Tony and Andrew
