Walking the distance to stay positive

[p]My name is Carole and my WHY is my Mencap Friends.[/p][p]I am a member of the Thursday Club at Mencap Liverpool & Sefton, I meet with my friends and the staff every Thursday evening and have done for 30 years, its my favourite place to socialise. [/p][p]At the moment we can't get together as we're all at home shielding safely from the Coronavirus. I have been a little put off walking recently, as I feel down so I haven't been going for my daily walk. [/p][p]That is until recently, I saw that I can help my friends by walking to raise £70, in a hope that we return and can see each other very soon. [/p][p]I've been building up my distance over the last few weeks, and have enjoyed it so much that my first question in the morning is now, "When are we walking for Mencap?"[/p][p]The challenge has given me something to look forward to, thanks to the support of my family and friends who say I'm finally getting my spark back![/p][p]Could you support me?
