My story

[p]I did my first of approximately 79 chilly runs today, in training for the 2019 London Marathon in April![/p][p][br][/p][p]I will be running for the National Association of Deaf Children. I chose this charity because I have worked with them a few times, and after researching them I felt they were a really down to earth simple and honest charity that I could get behind and feel passionate about fundraising for. Their work focuses on making simple adjustments and removing barriers for deaf children in the UK. For example, they are currently campaigning for British Sign Language to be added to the national curriculum as a GCSE option. Which would mean that deaf children who use BSL in schools would be able to communicate with their hearing peers. (https://www.independent.co.uk/news/education/education-news/british-sign-language-gcse-government-nick-gibb-campaign-school-a8377466.html ). [/p][p][br][/p][p]I would really appreciate any support that you are able to give, no matter how small. Your money will be going towards buying items like vibrating alarm clocks, which means for only £20 children are able to wake up independently. [/p][p][br][/p][p]I will keep this updated with lots of pictures of me out of me out in the rain, and dark to keep everyone amused. [/p]
