My story

[p]Welcome to Liberty's Legacy. [/p][p][br][/p][p]Liberty Grace, sadly gained her angel wings on October 11th 2017 after a courageous 13 month battle with Ewing's Sarcoma, just 2 weeks after her 14th birthday. Ewing's is a rare and very aggressive form of bone cancer for which survival rates have sadly not improved in over 30 years and treatment protocols remain decades old. [/p][p][br][/p][p]Throughout her gruelling treatment, Liberty shone brightly as an inspiration to so many with how bravely and valiantly she battled cancer. She refused to let this cruel disease define her, the dazzling smile for which she was so well known rarely slipping from her face despite everything she had to endure.[/p][p][br][/p][p]Liberty always fought for what mattered most to her, which was cherishing her family, loving her friends, and finding reasons to celebrate, no one loved to socialise or party more than Liberty, our little social butterfly![/p][p][br][/p][p]Liberty's greatest wish upon discovering her cancer had returned and that her prognosis was terminal, was that we, her family, raise funds in her name for vital research into this cruel disease. She did not want any other child to suffer as she had, nor any other family to be ripped apart in the same way, nor did she want to be forgotten. [/p][p][br][/p][p]And so Liberty's Legacy was born and we need your continued help so that hopefully we can one day fulfil our amazing daughter's selfless legacy. [/p][p][br][/p][p]Since February 1st 2018, Liberty's Legacy has been a special fund of the Bone Cancer Research Trust and any monies raised will be used specifically for life saving research into Ewing's Sarcoma, as was Liberty's wish. [/p][p][br][/p][p]Shockingly, every 10 minutes, a child, teenager like Liberty, or adult is diagnosed with primary bone cancer, yet just 0,13% of cancer research funding from the major UK charities was spent on primary bone cancer in 2016. We believe Liberty and children and young adults like her deserve so much more and you can support Liberty's Legacy right now by donating directly to the link below[/p][p]PLEASE SHARE AND ALSO INVITE YOUR FRIENDS TO FOLLOW LIBERTY'S LEGACY![/p]
