My story

[p]Hello everyone![/p][p]For those of you that know me you will know that I am not a runner. For those of you that don't know me, let me tell you, I am not a runner! I started running in April 2019 when my wonderful sister-in-law roped me into running the Vitality 10K in my knickers, no less! Why not!, I said. 10K can't be that hard, right? My first training session was a shambles. I suddenly realised just how unfit I was and just how hard this was going to be. I persevered and I eventually ran the 10K in one hour and twenty-eight minutes. Not too shabby for someone who hadn't even run for a bus. I've continued running over the last nine months and I'm a little faster but what I've found, over all else, is how good running is for my brain. [/p][p]So when I run the 2020 London Marathon (in my knickers again!), I can't promise to be the fastest or the strongest but I can promise to be the most enthusiastic, the most determined and to smile the entire way round (even if I feel like my feet fell off in mile three!). [/p][p]Thank you for supporting me whether that's donating to this page or sending me love and well wishes! This will be my biggest challenge yet. [/p][p]Wish me luck! [lt]3 [/p][p]Carrie[/p][p]xxx[/p]
