[p]The Marathon des Sables, or MdS, is said to be the as the toughest footrace on earth by the Discovery Channel. Competitors have to take six marathons in six days across the [b]Sahara desert[/b], covering over [b]250km[/b], in temperatures rising to [b]50C[/b].[/p] [p]WWTW help and support injured servicemen and women to gain training and qualifications so that they can find employment when they have left life in the military.[/p] [p]All the runners representing WWTW in this years MdS will be raising funds for the Head Start and Home Straight programmes seeking to assist ex service personnel who suffer from mental injury and those who are homeless get back on their feet.  Its a fantastic charity, supporting extraordinary individuals who have given and been through so much.[/p] [p][url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNihSSUwFJQ][/url]Every donation you make, large or small will be put to great use. [/p] [p]Thank you so much it really is very much appreciated.[/p] [p]Chris[/p]
