The 2.6 Challenge

[p]In April 2018 I dislocated my neck in 3 places in a freak accident playing football which rendered me paralysed from the chest down. After 2 years of rehabilitation, I have managed to recover some movement in my left leg (and a tiny bit in my right) which has enabled me to take a few steps with my legs fully braced using leg callipers. [/p][p]The three charities I am raising funds for; Back Up Trust, Spinal Injuries Association, and The Matt Hampson Foundation offer vital support to people and families who have been affected by a Spinal Cord Injury. [/p][p]They all supported me one way or another throughout my road to recovery, and with the London Marathon being postponed this year, the main source of funding for these charities has now been delayed and they require all the support we can give them. [/p][p]As such, I will be walking 26 laps of my flats corridor to help raise funds so these charities can continue to provide the critical care that means so much to so many.
