My story

[lt]p style="margin-right: 0cm; margin-left: 0cm; font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: #222222;"[gt]This is a Once In A Lifetime event hosted at London's Theatre Royal in Drury Lane by Back End Productions on Sunday 15th December. A one night only Pantomime with all profits going directly to The Silverlining Charity. We would love to see you on the night, but if you just can't join us or if you just want to give more we would warmly welcome any donation as we hope to make this our biggest fundraiser the charity has ever seen! [/p] [lt]p style="margin-right: 0cm; margin-left: 0cm; font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: #222222;"[gt]The SilverLining is a group of like minded people who aim to improve the quality of life of all those affected by brain injury. Our work engages brain injured young adults and adults with the wider community in such a way which invigorates, motivates and rehabilitates to discover a sense of purpose and added meaning to their lives.[/p] [lt]p style="margin-right: 0cm; margin-left: 0cm; font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: #222222;"[gt]The charity offers a forum for members who have sustained a brain injury, parents/partners or carers, professionals or volunteers who are keen to support, show goodwill and be involved.  It undertakes projects where brain injured people work to help others, with fundraising and activities designed around the clinical objective to enhance patient outcomes.[/p] [lt]p style="margin-right: 0cm; margin-left: 0cm; font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: #222222;"[gt]We understand the effects and so create activities, events and environments that are inclusive and enable all.[/p] [lt]p style="margin-right: 0cm; margin-left: 0cm; font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: #222222;"[gt]A great example of this was last year, when a group of our Silverliners raised the money to build a school in Namibia – and then went out and built it themselves with our support.[/p] [lt]p style="margin-right: 0cm; margin-left: 0cm; font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: #222222;"[gt]With a clinical rationale as a platform for reform, the charity does not work with Disability but Do’ability.[/p]
