My story

[p]Hi, thanks for visiting our page for the 2019 Epsom Legal Sponsored Walk.[/p][p]Our team members so far are: Alicia Harries[/p][p]Please sponsor our walkers as generously as you are able, and here’s why.[/p][p]Citizens Advice Epsom & Ewell is a registered charity(1085779) and was one of the first Citizens Advice Bureaux to be created in 1939 and is a member of the national Citizens Advice network serving people who live or work in the Borough of Epsom and Ewell.[/p][p]We provide free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone regardless of race, gender, disability, sexual orientation, age or nationality. We help with everything from money issues to problems at work, housing to consumer rights.[/p][p]To do this we have a small number of paid staff but most of the work of the charity is done by our team of more than 80 volunteers, including trustees, advisers, administrative and support workers.[/p][p]Your donations are essential, in order for us to continue deliver the help and advice that people need. Last year for example we helped almost 3,000 local people with their problems, including helping people claim or retain more than £1M in additional income and benefits. The quality of the service we provide has consistently been independently assessed as top rating.[/p][p]All funds received by LLST through this page will be donated to Citizens Advice Epsom & Ewell without deduction.[/p][p]Many thanks for your support[/p][p]Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.[/p]
