My story

[p]On the morning of 16th December the owners of Coleman Optician and Hearing Centre in Norwich were alerted to a break in where the main door had been smashed open and there was a general mess inside with computers thrown to the floor, specs all over the floor and the worst thing – the Break collection tins had been stolen.[/p][p]After posting a Facebook status to say that everyone was safe and that it would be business as usual, regardless of the mess and broken door, Coleman’s were inundated with comments asking to make a donation to Break after losing the charity pots.[/p][p]Coleman’s had chosen Break as their charity of choice due to their involvement with the GoGoDragons 2015 and now GoGoHares, and they ask for a donation for the hot drinks and any spare change at the till to go to Break. This Norfolk Children’s charity depends on the generosity of local companies and individuals to support them all through the year, and Coleman’s are a very generous supporter in so many ways.[/p][p]Radley and Kate Fenn, owners, said ‘we are overwhelmed with the number of shares and comments to the Facebook post, and thank everyone for their concern about the property and staff, and would like to reassure everyone that it is business as usual, and things like this are not going to beat them, but that the thought that the charity money which we work hard to raise has been taken, is a very low blow’.[/p][p]Therefore this Virgin Giving page has been set up as a direct response to the requests and they hope to be able to get the money back for Break. If you would like to support the charity and show the people who did this, that it is not acceptable to break in and cause damage, as well as stealing a couple of charity pots.[/p][p][img][/img][/p]
