My story

[p]Hi there, and thanks for visiting my page.[/p][p]As many of you know I turned 50 in October 2015.  To mark this event I am running the London Marathon this April (2016).  In doing so I’m raising money for ChildLine (part of the NSPCC - National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children) whom I have supported in the past through various “White Hat” charity events.[/p][p]I’m asking for your support, financially at least, though I would be delighted to see you on the Streets of London on the day should you feel so inclined, in this gargantuan and herculean effort …[/p][p]As you can see I need to raise £3,000 and so if there is any donation (large or small – preferably the former) that you can give me in order to help me achieve this, then I (but more importantly the recipients from ChildLine) would be extremely grateful.[/p][p]I do appreciate you parting with your cash, so thanks so much for that … it's a worthwhile cause (I know you know that!!), and come and support me on the day if you can.  I will do what I can to make the weather behave itself on the day …[/p][p] [/p][p]Many thanks [/p][p]David[/p]
