[p]Hi, I am David, the coordinator for the hosting network at Birch Network. I see firsthand the terrible impact the current hostile environment and the policy of destitution has on asylum seekers and refugees. [/p][p]Our hosting network at Birch Network provides vital accommodation to some of the most vulnerable refugees and migrants in Birmingham. Our hosts are invaluable in making our guests feel safe and welcome and provide a stable footing to helping them in the next stages of their immigration cases. [/p][p]I am riding the buses in solidarity with all the destitute asylum seekers and refugees I have worked with and am hoping to raise a lot of money so that we can continue our work. [/p]
