Doncaster half marathon

[p]On the 9th of June 2019, I am running the Doncaster half-marathon (my first one) in aid of the ‘Send A Child to Hucklow’ (SACH) charity. This organisation provides adventure holidays for disadvantaged children at the Nightingale Centre in Great Hucklow, Derbyshire. I was lucky enough to accompany a group of school children on a SACH holiday earlier this year, and was blown away by the work the charity does. Children - who would not otherwise have a holiday - get to experience a world often far-removed from their usual daily environment. They practise important life-skills in a holiday setting, and take away positive life-long memories. The cost per child over £300, which is fully funded by the charity. Please join me in supporting this worthy cause, and help improve the life-chances of children less fortunate than our own.[/p]
