Team story

[p]Hi all![/p][p]As some of you might already know Joe and I have committed to fully losing the plot and are doing 3 races (2 halfs and the Edinburgh Marathon) over the next couple of months. We're splitting the proceeds between 3 super important charities close to our hearts.[/p] [p]I'm running the Edinburgh Marathon for Child Bereavement UK, a charity which offers support to both bereaved young people following the loss of a parent and to families following the death of a baby or child. Joe's running for Breast Cancer Care who provide fantastic support to affected people and their families. [/p] [p]We're also donating 20% of funds rasied to OCD action. OCD is a term that gets thrown around a lot and is a widely misunderstood and sometimes dehabilitating Anxiety Disorder(it's not wanting to have a tidy room.) If you're interested, this book is awesome https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/cka/Mad-Girl-Bryony-Gordon/1472232089)OCD action works to bring more open-minded honest awareness to the disorder and intervention to sufferers. [/p] [p]So please donate anything you can! We are tired with no knees left and long runs are called long runs for a reason!!! We promise we will stop boring everyone with our terrible marathon chat / whingeing about our clicking joints! P.S. Joe apologises for his running leggings![/p][p]Thank you again for all donations!!![/p][p]Joe and Nat[/p]

Well done both of you! A marathon is far beyond my zone of comfort so I'm extremely impressed by your efforts here. Both charities are worthy causes, and The Child Bereavement Trust is one very close to my heart. Good job!

Very happy to sponsor when someone is doing something outside their comfort zone. Judging by that picture you sent round Joe, this is several postcodes outside yours. Great effort and good luck both of you.
