My story

[p]The Deeside AAC 2.6 Challenge will see two challenges taking place on Sunday 26th April.[/p][p]The 2.6 Relay Challenge will involve a number of our Senior Middle Distance athletes, coaches and parents running almost 100 Miles.[/p][vmgvideo class="ql-video" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="true" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/dC_A9s31Pmc?showinfo=0&rel=0&iv_load_policy=3"][/vmgvideo][p][br][/p][p]26 Leg Relay[/p][p]Distance between athletes at change over minimum of 2.6m[/p][p]Runners complete legs of 2.6km - 2.6m - 26km or a combination of them to reach the next runner.[/p][p]NOTE: At all times the Government social distancing measures are adhered to.[/p][p]Each runners relay leg is part of their long sunday run.[/p][p]Each athlete will respect the general public social distancing & Government guidelines and run close to their homes. [/p][p]The charity we will support will be our local NHS Hospitals League of Friends (we will pass five hospitals en-route – Mold Community, Deeside Community, Countess of Chester, Wrexham Maelor and Penley Community) as we do our bit to help support the continued fight against COVID 19.[/p][p]We are fortunate enough to be supported in our challenge by our former athlete and current GB International, Charlie Hulson.[/p][p]In addition, our Junior athletes will be doing their own, home based 2.6 relay challenges to further support our efforts.[/p][p]Please help us raise as much money as possible as we seek to help the NHS.[/p][p][br][/p][vmgvideo class="ql-video" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="true" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/dC_A9s31Pmc?showinfo=0&rel=0&iv_load_policy=3"][/vmgvideo][p][br][/p]
