My story

[p]A good friend of mine is a trustee of HUGS, a charity that builds schools in Uganda. This year their Annual Appeal is a Virtual Cycle Ride from Manchester to Kampala, a trip of just over 10,000 kms that we have to complete by the end of September! [/p][p]The aim is to raise money for their 7th school, which is the second one specifically for children with disabilities. Deaf children and those with eyesight problems get very little help in childhood but if they get the right help early in life then they too can succeed at school and create a livelihood. [/p][p]That's why I said I'd take part - luckily I'm not on my own, there is a team of about 50 riders taking part. If you can make a donation, I would be very grateful, and if not don't worry you can virtually cheer us on![/p][p]Thanks, Denis[/p]
