All patients are seen, regardless of race religion or ability to pay. 98% of our patients are Palestinian.[/li][li]We operate a hospital in Jerusalem, another in Hebron and clinics in Gaza and Anabta. We also provide a Mobile Outreach Clinic serving remote areas of the West Bank.  [/li][li]Our 4-year Ophthalmology Residency Programme in Jerusalem rigorously trains indigenous doctors, thereby investing in the shattered local infrastructure. We also work with Israel’s world-renowned Hadassah Medical Center to provide residents with additional ophthalmic training opportunities.[/li][li]A peace-oriented organisation, we advocate strong interfaith relationships and our supporters include individuals and organisations of all faiths and backgrounds.[/li][/ul][lt]p style="text-transform: none; text-indent: 0px; letter-spacing: normal; font: 10px Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; white-space: normal; color: #000000; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px;"[gt][b]Background[/b][/p][lt]p style="text-transform: none; text-indent: 0px; letter-spacing: normal; font: 10px Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; white-space: normal; color: #000000; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px;"[gt]The Ali Smith Training and Development Fund was set up in May 2013. The course of study/training must be related to their role within the organisation and the SJEHG should also benefit from the outcome of such study/training. [/p]
