My story

[p]In June last year I was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Since then the love and support I have received from my family and friends has kept me strong and happy. [/p][p]The care and treatment I am receiving from the NHS is incredible and to thank these wonderful centres my heroic fiance Edd Blake started this on 1st January and since then has run 1 mile every single day. The plan is to continue this for the whole year... which means he will run 366 miles! This is to raise some money for 3 charities close to our hearts:[/p][p]The Walton Centre Charity - Where I had my diagnosis and was given outstanding brain surgery which removed 95% of the tumour [/p][p]The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity - An unbelievably kind centre who supported me throughout radiotherapy and continue to provide me with chemotherapy treatment[/p][p]Brain Tumour Research - Because this charity is going to find a cure[/p][p]If you would like to see how Edd has been doing each day please follow the Instagram account @1_mile_a_day where information from each run is shared!
